    We move furniture out if you haven't already, then tape plastic over ducts and doorways to section off the room.

    Dust vacuums run the whole time while we sand from coarse to ultra-fine grit, wall to wall.

  4. Finish

Do you install vinyl plank, or only hardwood?

Both. Besides solid and engineered hardwood, we install click-lock luxury vinyl plank and laminate. Vinyl plank is a good fit for mudrooms, basements, kitchens, and bathrooms where water is a concern.

Do you install carpet?

No. We work only with hard-surface flooring. We're happy to remove old carpet and install hardwood, vinyl plank, or laminate in its place.

Can you refinish my existing hardwood floors?

Usually, yes. Solid hardwood can be sanded and refinished several times. We sand to bare wood, apply the stain you choose, and finish with three coats in matte, satin, semi-gloss, or gloss. Badly damaged boards can be replaced and blended in.

Is floor sanding dusty?

We seal off the work area with plastic over doorways and ducts and run dust vacuums with our sanding equipment, which keeps dust in your home to a minimum.

Do you work as a flooring subcontractor for builders?

Yes. We work as a residential and commercial flooring subcontractor for general contractors and builders, including new construction, remodels, and retail fit-ups. On builder jobs, we can also take on stairs, trim, doors, windows, and cabinets.
